Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Engineer to join our global team. The Operations Engineer will play a key role in optimizing our operational processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and reliability in our subsea operations. This position offers a hybrid/remote work arrangement, allowing flexibility to work from any location worldwide, with occasional on-site visits as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day operational activities related to subsea projects and equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and optimize workflows.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for subsea equipment and systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to field operations teams.
• Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for operational incidents.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in subsea operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Operations Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of subsea equipment, systems, and operational processes.
• Experience with risk assessment, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally for on-site project visits.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
• Experience with subsea project management software and tools.
• Familiarity with environmental and sustainability practices in subsea operations.
