Test Specialist/ QA Engineer

Introduction
As a Test Specialist at IBM, your analytical and technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create. Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to IBM’ers and our clients. Your Role and Responsibilities

• Work alongside a global community of 6000+ interns and meet other IBMers during networking events, special team events and career development activities
• Grow your skills through a combination of education platforms, and receive career guidance from your manager, coach, and mentor to get everything you need to shape the start of your career
• Learn about a clients industry, tackle new challenges, and learn about how their business and technology intersect
• Participate on a consulting project or initiative and experience first-hand how we help transform our clients business

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong understanding of Core JAVA and OOP Concepts
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Understanding of product development lifecycle with specific experience in using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Good overview of SDLC process, requirements specification, software development, and software debugging
• Graduates only
