Job Description:

The Finance Support Specialist will provide critical support to the GS Finance Process Organization hubs, leveraging accounting and tax knowledge to ensure financial activities comply with company policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of financial processes, particularly in relation to payments, financial reporting, and audit support.

Main responsibilities :-

• Providing support to GS Finance Process Organization hubs based on accounting and Tax accounting knowledge for financial activities to the enterprise with compliance manner.
• Payments submission requests as per JNJ policies with WWP Procedures.
• Support coordination of closing process working in conjunction with Shared Services (GFS), Business Unit and BPO under 3 Tier Model.
• Ensure the legality, timeliness and correctness of end-to-end Purchase to Pay process, create orders in eMarketplace.
• Compliance with the procedure for issuing primary and accounting documents, auditing the organization of accounting and reporting, as well as documentary audits in the companys divisions.
• Work to ensure strict observance of financial and cash discipline.
• Responsible for the timely and high-quality review of financial and tax reporting of the enterprise and submitting them to state institutions in accordance with the current legislation of EG including :-

Cash and Banks Management:

• Preparing all manual payments in the Bank portal.
• Quarterly preparing of user access and entitlement reports & support related to Bank Audit.

IC payment support

• Providing support for Intercompany teams for Netting invoices
• Identifying withholding tax invoices under Intercompany

Tax support during local audits, communication with local authorities/statistic data submissions

• Providing support to the GS team for any related activities to Financial Audits.
• Preparing letters based on the requests raised by the auditors example confirmation on the balances, bank confirmation letters etc.

Required knowledge and experience: -

• 2-4 years experience in Finance /accounting big 4 audit firms is preferable .
• Bachelor/masters degree in Finance/Accounting & Taxation.

• knowledge of tax and accounting.

• preparation of accounting and tax reporting

• conditions of taxation of legal entities and individuals

• rules for settlement with debtors and creditors

• the procedure for writing off shortages, receivables and other losses from accounting account

• rules for conducting inspections and documentary audits
