Job Purpose:

The HR Generalist will support and implement key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, and compliance. This role is essential to maintaining a productive, efficient, and positive workplace environment, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1- Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment for various positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.

2- Compensation and Benefits

  • Managing payroll and employee benefits administration.
  • Managing leave requests and attendance records.

3- Performance Management

  • Assist in managing performance appraisal processes, ensuring timely completion and follow-up on performance goals.
  • Work closely with department heads to identify and support employee development opportunities.

4- Policy and Compliance

  • Ensure all HR activities comply with company policies and legal requirements, including labour laws and health and safety regulations.
  • Update and maintain employee handbooks and company policies as required.

5- Training and Development

  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives, helping to facilitate workshops and track training needs and completions.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify skill gaps and support the design of relevant training programmes.

6- HR Administration

  • Maintain employee records, HR databases, and HRIS systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare reports on HR metrics, such as employee turnover, absenteeism, and training effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role.
  • Strong understanding of HR practises and legal requirements.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and report generation.
  • FLUENT IN ENGLISH (IS MUST)
