Job Purpose:
The HR Generalist will support and implement key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, and compliance. This role is essential to maintaining a productive, efficient, and positive workplace environment, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Recruitment and Onboarding
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment for various positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
2- Compensation and Benefits
- Managing payroll and employee benefits administration.
- Managing leave requests and attendance records.
3- Performance Management
- Assist in managing performance appraisal processes, ensuring timely completion and follow-up on performance goals.
- Work closely with department heads to identify and support employee development opportunities.
4- Policy and Compliance
- Ensure all HR activities comply with company policies and legal requirements, including labour laws and health and safety regulations.
- Update and maintain employee handbooks and company policies as required.
5- Training and Development
- Coordinate employee training and development initiatives, helping to facilitate workshops and track training needs and completions.
- Collaborate with managers to identify skill gaps and support the design of relevant training programmes.
6- HR Administration
- Maintain employee records, HR databases, and HRIS systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Prepare reports on HR metrics, such as employee turnover, absenteeism, and training effectiveness.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role.
- Strong understanding of HR practises and legal requirements.
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and report generation.
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH (IS MUST)
