As an Application Administrator at Advansys, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and administration of applications built on JavaScript, Python, and SQL technologies. You will ensure that all application components are functioning optimally and provide support to end-users while collaborating with development and IT teams to enhance system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage application setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of JavaScript, Python, and SQL-based applications.
  • Monitor application performance and perform troubleshooting to address issues related to functionality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with development and support teams to deploy application updates, patches, and enhancements.
  • Assist in database management tasks including optimization, migration, and maintenance of SQL databases.
  • Conduct regular health checks and audits of applications to ensure compliance with best practices and standards.
  • Document application configurations, processes, and procedures effectively to support knowledge transfer and user training.
  • Provide user support and training for application functionalities, guiding users in utilizing application features.
  • Participate in project planning and implementation activities for new system features and upgrades.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends related to application administration and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in application administration or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Python programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management.
  • Experience with application deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
