Department: Web Design & DevelopmentReports To: Tech Project Manager

Overview

The Frontend Developer is responsible for translating UI/UX designs into fully responsive, interactive, and performance-optimized interfaces. This role ensures that all visual elements are accurately coded to reflect brand guidelines, user experience flows, and functional requirements in natively developed projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect frontend code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Build responsive layouts with a mobile-first approach
  • Collaborate with the UI/UX Designer and Backend & DevOps Engineer to integrate systems
  • Implement interactive elements, transitions, and animations as needed
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
  • Participate in QA and bug resolution prior to launch
  • Maintain clean, scalable code and version control discipline
  • Contribute to performance tuning and front-end optimization

KPIs:

  • Accuracy and responsiveness of front-end implementation
  • Timely delivery of frontend milestones
  • Compatibility and performance across browsers and devices
  • Minimal frontend-related QA bugs
  • Developer/designer handoff efficiency

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years in frontend development for native web environments
  • Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue)
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub and component-based development
  • Understanding of accessibility and UX principles
  • Experience working collaboratively with designers and backend teams

  • Code editors (e.g., VS Code)
  • Git & GitHub
  • Figma (for handoff and inspection)
  • ClickUp (for task management and feedback)
