What is this role?

You will be a crucial part of our Finance team. As a Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial planning strategies to support the organizations goals and objectives, which would entail following responsibilities:

Job Description :

• Financial Planning and Analysis:
• • Develop and implement financial planning strategies to support the organizations goals and objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans in alignment with the organizations strategic objectives.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance:
• • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with IFRS or applicable accounting standards.
  • Oversee internal and external financial reporting processes, including coordination with auditors and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, laws, and standards, and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
• Cash Flow Management:
• • Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational requirements and optimize working capital.
  • Implement effective cash management strategies, including cash forecasting, investment management, and debt financing.
• Strategic Financial Leadership:
• • Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to senior management and department heads.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives, business plans, and investment decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CMA, CPA and/or CFA preferred.
• Proven experience as director of finance or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
