Job Overview:

As a Senior SEO Specialist at Youmats, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and optimizing SEO strategies for our diverse range of clients. Youll work closely with our content, design, and development teams to improve organic search performance and drive significant traffic. Your expertise will ensure that our clients websites are performing at their highest potential in search engine rankings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth SEO audits and implement strategies to improve website visibility and organic search rankings.
  • Perform keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, and technical SEO optimizations.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to client needs and industry best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (content, development, and design) to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all website updates and new projects.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry changes.
  • Manage multiple SEO campaigns simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior SEO team members and collaborate with other senior staff to share knowledge.
  • Present and explain SEO performance, recommendations, and strategies to clients in a clear, actionable manner.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of SEO experience, including hands-on experience with SEO audits, keyword research, content strategy, and technical SEO.
  • Strong understanding of SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and others.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
  • Deep knowledge of current SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of improving organic traffic and driving results in competitive industries.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data and strategies in a simple, actionable manner.
  • Experience in e-commerce SEO is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, Shopify, or Drupal.
  • Knowledge of local SEO, mobile SEO, and international SEO.
  • Experience with paid search advertising (Google Ads, Bing Ads) a plus.
  • Google Analytics certification is a bonus.
