Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and developing sales strategies to achieve company growth targets.
Role Overview
This is a commission-only role for the first 3 months (trial phase). Youll help us acquire new clients, grow revenue, and position Soft Blue Ocean as a digital transformation partner in Saudi Arabia and beyond. After 3 successful months, we plan to transition to a base pay + commission model.
What Youll Do
- Identify and approach potential clients in KSA and the MENA region
- Build a qualified pipeline of leads in targeted industries (e.g. fintech, education, e-commerce, services)
- Promote Soft Blue Oceans digital solutions (mobile/web apps, AI tools, dashboards)
- Schedule and attend sales meetings (with or without CCO support)
- Customize proposals and support RFP submissions
- Nurture relationships and follow up until deal closure
Requirements
- 3+ years in business development, sales, or partnerships (tech or agency preferred)
- Experience working with or selling to Saudi-based businesses
- Strong communication in Arabic and English
- Self-starter, proactive, and comfortable working remotely
- Familiarity with LinkedIn prospecting, Upwork, or other freelance platforms is a plus
Compensation
- Commission-only for 3 months
- Up to 10-15% commission on confirmed closed deals
- After 3 months:
- Option to switch to fixed monthly stipend + commission (based on performance)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: E£200,000.00 - E£500,000.00 per year
