Position Purpose:The SEO Specialist role is responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining & optimizing accounts/websites on top of the search pages of search engines.

  • Assist in daily operations of various online marketing initiatives, including SEO keyword research, on-page & off-page optimization, image & video optimization.

  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.

  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation.

  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

  • Engage in link building activities, including advising and working with editorial and marketing teams on social media plans and activities.

  • Continuously update knowledge of SEO best practices and latest trends, sharing learnings with relevant team members to enhance marketing efforts.

Internal: Regional Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Digital Advertising Specialist, Webmaster, Social Media Specialist, Destinations Managers, Editor

External: Social media platforms administrators/staff, Web developer, Web designer

Person Specification: Essential Requirements:

  • The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills.

  • A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO.

  • Strong understanding of website development & coding, as well as a fundamental grasp of Digital Marketing.

  • Google Analytics Certified.
