We are looking to bootstrap our BI team with a Data Analyst that will help us navigate our data. The end goal is to help each other grow and reach our full potential.

Responsibilities

• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Explore data, interpret results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement data warehouse models, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, visualize, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Skills and experience

• Professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst or fresh graduate with hands-on skills in data analytics
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc), Python (pandas, DuckDB)
• Data Engineering tools: DBT, Airbyte
• Business Intelligence tools: Metabase, Tableau, etc.
• Knowledge of statistics
• Ability to collect, organize, explore, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
