Job Summary Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager oversees the production processes to ensure products are made safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards, while ensuring full compliance with company policies, procedures, and control requirements. They implement the overall production strategy to meet company needs in terms of time, specifications, and plans. Additionally, the Production Manager oversees production operations to guarantee smooth and efficient manufacturing by monitoring employees and organizing workflows, ensuring adherence to EHS and quality standards within the planned timeframe. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the production floor, including scheduling, budgeting and staffing.
  • Staff Management: Supervise, train and develop production staff, ensuring a safe and positive work environment.
  • Health and Safety: Set and enforce health and safety procedures and guidelines and make sure it is fully implemented in place.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all production activities comply with all internal IFF policies, requirements and external regulations
  • Quality Control: Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain quality control standards for production process and finished products.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement production processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and cooperate with the maintenance team to maintain production equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Coordination: Work with other departments such as safety, quality, maintenance, planning, procurement and logistics to ensure a smooth production process.
  • Continuous improvements: Support and lead all running projects and initiatives related to production.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on production activities, metrics and performance for upper management.

Fast learner - accurate- punctual- attention to details. Hard worker - willing to accept challenges. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills. Job Requirements: Education:
  • Educational Background: A degree in manufacturing engineering, food science, science or a related field is required.
Experience:
  • 3 to 5 Years experience in a similar position.
  • Proven work experience as Production Manager.
Language:
  • Very Good command of English (written and verbal).
Computer skills:
  • Working knowledge of SAP systems
  • Very Good Working knowledge of MS Office
