Motion Graphic Designer

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motion Graphic Designer to join our creative team and support our mission of spreading the love of reading and making knowledge accessible to people worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, animating, and editing engaging video content and motion graphics that clearly and creatively communicate our brand message across multiple digital platforms. A strong background in video production, advanced animation skills, and experience with AI tools in the editing workflow are essential. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and animate high-quality motion graphics for various digital platforms.
• Edit video content with precision and creativity, maintaining brand consistency.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to produce engaging visual content.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to streamline video editing and enhance production quality.
• Stay up to date with trends in animation, video production, and AI technologies.
• Transform raw footage and briefs into polished, professional final videos.
• Design social media visuals, including posts, stories, ads, reels, and thumbnails.
• Ensure video content is optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity and align with the brands messaging goals.

Qualifications & Work Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in motion graphics and video editing.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Strong skills in storytelling, visual composition, and animation.
• Experience using AI tools within video production workflows for automation and content enhancement.
• Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and platform-specific export settings.
• Ability to tailor content to different audiences and media platforms.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in animation is a strong plus.
