Role Overview:

The Member joining this role will be part of the Customer Support Division, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team environment. Responsibilities will include close coordination with various internal stakeholders such as the Boiler Division, Steam Systems Division, Integrated Solutions, Codel, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth project execution and consistent alignment with both company and customer expectations. The role may also require travel to various regions of Egypt to support commissioning activities, explore maintenance, repair, and operations business opportunities, and foster strong customer relationships.

Purpose of the Role:

To assist customers in maintaining their steam assets provided by Forbes Marshall and to drive business opportunities in Maintenance & Repair Operations (MRO).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Possess expertise in Boiler Commissioning and related processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of boiler erection, installation, and related activities.
  • Experience in the installation of electrical panels for boilers.
  • Proficient in loop testing and automation systems.
  • Skilled in burner commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning for both dual-fuel and single-fuel boilers.
  • Understanding of single control and three-level control systems.
  • Knowledgeable in boiler house instrumentation and automation.
  • Familiarity with mini DCS systems for boilers.
  • Experience with PLC-based boiler commissioning.
  • Understanding of steam accessories and their role in steam distribution circuits.

Qualification and Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, specializing in Mechanical, Thermal, or Instrumentation.
  • Prior experience in roles such as Customer Support Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer.
  • A strong customer focus with the ability to thrive under pressure, ensuring effective support and solutions.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a high level of self-motivation to achieve both personal and team goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • A solid understanding of manufacturing setups, contributing to efficient service and support.
  • Ideally, candidates will have between 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in the field.
