Position Overview

This role is critical to ensuring efficient and uninterrupted supply chain operations by translating demand forecasts into actionable production and supply plans. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end supply chain process for a portfolio of more than 250 finished goods (FG) SKUs and 700 raw materials and packaging components. This includes production scheduling, procurement coordination, inventory control, and distribution planning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning

Translate demand forecasts into production requirements, ensuring alignment with factory capacity and resources.

Develop and communicate production schedules, monitoring adherence and addressing any deviations with the production team.

2. Procurement Coordination

Generate purchase requisitions for raw materials and packaging based on production needs.

Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of required inputs and resolve any supply disruptions.

3. Distribution Planning

Manage the distribution of finished goods from the factory to 10 distribution centers across the country.

Optimize stock allocation to meet regional demand and service level targets.

4. Exception Management

Respond to short-term sales and demand fluctuations to ensure supply continuity and minimize stockouts.

Collaborate with sales, demand planning, and production to address urgent supply issues.

5. Inventory Management

Monitor and control inventory levels for finished goods, raw materials, and packaging.

Drive actions to prevent obsolescence, expiries, and excess inventory.

Implement best practices to achieve inventory efficiency and minimize waste.

6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

Track and report on key supply planning KPIs, including production adherence, stock availability, supply casefill to DCs and SLOB.

Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for any performance gaps.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in supply planning, production scheduling, or a similar role.

Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply planning tools.

Advanced Excel skills, including data modeling and analysis.

Solid understanding of supply chain principles, including production planning, procurement, and inventory management.

Experience managing supply operations for a complex SKU portfolio in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with distribution planning and logistics operations.

Knowledge of lean supply chain practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
