We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Spare Parts Planner . This role is crucial to ensuring the availability of spare parts, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating procurement processes with international suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Spare Parts Planning:
- Monitor and determine the department’s spare parts needs.
- Develop yearly forecasts based on consumption data.
- Anticipate shortages and raise timely purchase requests.
Procurement & Supplier Management:
- Deal with key international suppliers.
- Import spare parts and coordinate shipping and clearance.
- Select the most suitable supplier based on price, quality, and delivery time.
- Create and manage POs in the system.
- Maintain professional communication with suppliers (English fluency required).
Inventory Management:
- Track and analyze spare parts stock levels.
- Ensure inventory aligns with future demand.
- Coordinate incoming shipments and storage.
Cost Analysis & Financial Oversight:
- Conduct cost analysis for spare parts consumption.
- Evaluate customer profitability (P&L).
- Analyze departmental cost performance and waste.
Reporting & Cross-functional Coordination:
- Generate regular reports on usage and costs.
- Work with maintenance and technical teams to align on stock availability.
- Continuously improve planning and replenishment cycles.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or Supply Chain-related field.
- 3–10 years of relevant experience in spare parts planning, preferably in a maintenance environment.
- Solid experience with import operations and supplier management.
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent command of English.
