Senior Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a motivated Senior Procurement Specialist to manage our companys procurement activities.

Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for all foreign shipment on Saint- Gobain Construction Products level.
• Responsible for dissecting/ examining broker’s invoices Vs. Broker’s contracts and Price list.
• Responsible for launching annual tender’s for clearance and transportation. From all port of destinations in Egypt to SG’s plants.
• Responsible for clearance processes and handling communications with different clearance agents, etc..
• Responsible to handle all related NAFEZA’s affairs.
• Responsible to handle all governmental related topics to clearance processes e.g. Civil protection, general security, etc..
• Responsible for placing the best deals in terms of prices, incoterms, payment terms, etc..
• Responsible for evaluating broker’s performance on a frequent basis.
• Responsible handling the full packaging portfolio e.g. suppliers, deliveries, stocks, payments, invoices, receiving, new sources, alternatives, new launches, designs, etc..
• To maintain daily plant’s deliverables Packing requirements.
• Responsible for daily reporting (In transit orders, etc…)
• Sourcing new suppliers, ensuring that the purchased products and materials meet specific technical specifications.
• Negotiating purchase terms and evaluating supplier performance and ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any supply issues or discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, be an analytical thinker, and demonstrate a good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
• Researching and identifying prospective suppliers.
• Liaising with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations.
• Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
• Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
• Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements.
• Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
• Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings.
• Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
• Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records.
• Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Procurement Senior Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a procurement specialist or in a similar role preferable in the construction product field.
• Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a similar field preferred.
• Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and Dynamics.
• Team player with strong organizational skills.
