Job Highlights
- Hourly Rate:USD5.19, the equivalent in your local currency
- Paid Hours per Week: 40
- Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm PST with a 30-minute unpaid break
- Work Arrangement:Work from home
- Contract:Independent Contractor
Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates, and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities
- Create exceptional web experiences using WordPress and visual page builders
- Design and develop websites using Beaver Builder for page layout and design creation
- Utilize WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg) for content management and creation
- Implement responsive designs using HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript
- Manage website content, images, and media optimization
- Apply SEO basics and image optimization techniques
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality web solutions
- Maintain and update existing WordPress websites
Requirements
- 1+ years of WordPress experience with content management and basic customization
- Proficiency with Beaver Builder for page design and layout creation
- Familiarity with WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg) for content creation
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript
- Experience with design tools such as Canva, Figma, or Sketch
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Basic SEO knowledge and image optimization techniques
- Strong learning mindset with willingness to develop PHP and advanced WordPress skills
- Experience with community-based websites, BuddyBoss, BuddyPress, and WordPress Multisite
Preferred Skills
- Experience with custom Gutenberg block development using React and JavaScript
- Advanced Beaver Builder customization including custom modules and hooks
- Knowledge of WordPress REST API and basic headless WordPress concepts
- Familiarity with modern build tools (webpack, gulp, npm)
- Basic experience with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Understanding of server management and hosting environments
- Knowledge of e-commerce solutions (WooCommerce integration with Beaver Builder)
