Job Summary

Aligns the HR strategy with the overall BU strategy and priorities, conceptualizing change initiatives, and ensuring succession planning for critical positions. Supports top management in selection & development, compensation and employee relations. Oversees initiatives to enhance motivation & employee satisfaction levels, drive cost savings, and implement performance management systems. Work closely with BU leadership to develop business continuity plans, manage industrial relation issues, and ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements. All the HR strategy with the overall BU strategy and priorities, conceptualizing change initiatives, and ensuring succession planning for critical positions. Supports top management in selection & development, compensation and employee relations. Oversees initiatives to enhance motivation & employee satisfaction levels, drive cost savings, and implement performance management systems. Work closely with BU leadership to develop business continuity plans, manage industrial relation issues, and ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategy Execution & Business Alignment
Contribute to the development of the annual business plan for the BU
Align HR strategy with overall BU strategy, along with conceptualizing BU level change initiatives
Talent Management & Development
Ensure implementation of succession planning for critical positions and contribute to leadership pipeline by identifying top talent within BU
Support HRBPs and CoEs in development & rolling-out policies and programs for talent development
Oversee on-site trainings for all plant employees
Employee Engagement & Motivation
Oversee design of initiatives to enhance motivation and satisfaction levels for BU workforce
Understand the pulse of the BU workforce through regular interaction with employees
Collaborate with Corporate team and BU leadership in capability building, to ensure productivity and engagement
Performance Management & Process Optimization
Study the manpower deployment for the BU and recommend suitable changes based on productivity metrics
Analyze existing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and areas for improvement
Develop and implement process optimization strategies for performance management, leadership development etc., to streamline HR operations and increase efficiency
Risk Management & Business Continuity Planning
Work closely with BU Leadership to develop business continuity plans
Review IR issues related to domestic inquiries, and discipline management
Oversee functioning of grievance redressal system and capture all employee issues
Policy & Compliance
Monitor non-compliances of policy & act as a point of escalation
Assist in the localization and implementation of centrally designed policy
Setup governance & cadence to interact and record inputs from HR Administrators
Administrative Oversight
Provide oversight to the local administrative team

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in HR

Qualification
