Cloud Solutions Architect

Advansys is looking for a dynamic and innovative Cloud Solutions Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will ensure that our cloud solutions are not only effective but also align perfectly with our clients business goals. The Cloud Solutions Architect will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud solutions that drive efficiency and enhance performance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define cloud architecture strategy and best practices.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions across Azure and other cloud platforms.
• Develop proof-of-concept projects to validate proposed cloud solutions and technologies.
• Conduct thorough assessments of current architecture and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in the deployment of cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security and governance policies.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions into the overall architecture.
• Guide teams in building cloud-native applications and optimizing existing applications for cloud environments.
• Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for new services and improvements.
• Create detailed documentation for architecture designs, deployment strategies, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior cloud engineers and architects.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solutions design.
• Proven experience with major cloud providers, especially Azure, and familiarity with AWS, GCP is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services, including compute, storage, database, networking, and security.
• Experience in designing and deploying cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager templates, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
