A leading company in the agriculture industry is hiring a chief accountant, you will be responsible for leading and managing the financial accounting function of the organization. You will ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations while providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing all accounting activities, developing financial policies, and managing the accounting team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of financial statements and reports in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Manage the budgeting process and assist in financial forecasting.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of financial accounts.
  • Provide leadership and support to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Requirements: Qualifications:
